| Greetings from Capt. Tom Rowland
It is my pleasure to have you visit my site and learn a little about my life and the service that I offer to you. My love and appreciation of the sport of fishing has grown each year since I started my career in Jackson Hole, WY in 1990. The trout rivers of the Rocky Mountain West were a great stepping stone from the rhododendron covered streams of the Smoky Mountains and the still summer bass ponds where I grew up and began fishing.
In 1994, I became licensed by the US Coast Guard to begin guiding in the Florida Keys. Since then, every moment has been spent trying to become a better fishing guide in saltwater, freshwater, flats and offshore.
Striving to improve and become the best fishing guide I can has sent me around the world on fishing trips and finally led me to the competitive arena of fishing tournaments. From the ESPN Great Outdoor Games to the ESPN Redfish Cup, I have competed in fresh and saltwater, flyfishing, spin fishing and bait fishing tournaments and enjoyed success in each but more importantly, have come one step closer to perfecting the sport that I love and becoming a "Compleat Fisherman".
Fishing is more than an activity, hobby or even a profession to me. Fishing is an all-consuming life long obsession that means that my customers get the best fishing available at all times. Showing a novice a stellar day of fishing is as exciting to me as winning a professional tournament.
I hope that you can learn alot from this site. Please read the articles, view my bio and client testamonials and if your travels lead you to the Florida Keys, you will try my service. I promise that I will do everything I can to provide the best Key West fishing guide service available.
Thank you and tight lines,
Capt. Tom Rowland
