Hello Fish Fans, The cool fronts are still passin thru producing mixed reviews on almost a daily basis. Some days the Sailfishin was good and other days they were nowhere to be found, there’s a cold front movin in tonight which will probably keep the Sailfish in town thru the end of the month. The Backfin Tuna fishin has been excellent, we’re catchin 20 to 30 on almost every trip, most of these fish weigh between 5 and 15 pounds with the biggest one weighin 30 pounds. The Tuna Steaks on a 30 pounder are so big you can only fit one steak in a gallon Bag. We’ve been catchin alot of Dolphin {Mahi-Mahi}, most of these fish weigh 5 to 10 pounds, the big ones right now are goin 20 to 30 pounds. The schools are small right now and scattered all over, we’ve been catchin these fish between 150 and 600 feet of water. The Kingfishin is excellent right now and alot of Wahoo have been showin up, most of these fish weighin 15 to 25 pounds with the big ones weighin between 40 and 50 pounds. I haven’t been bottom fishin over the last 2 weeks but there’s plenty of Black Grouper and Mutton Snapper around when the conditions cooperate. The cold front that’s passin thru right now will slow down the Giant Tarpon migration but they’ll be here reel soon and the Reel Busy is ready to track them down. I have replaced the Sea Island Lady as seen on the website with a new 32 foot Wellcraft, it’s tournament rigged just like the Reel Busy only bigger, faster, has more seating and a bathroom. The Reel Busy is still available at 600.00 a day and the new boat is 750.00 a day, the new boat will be up on the website reel soon. If you wanna catch fish and have a good time, let’s go fishin !
